Hello Members of the Forum. i would like to ask your help about issues i'm facing with RE210. I bought the RE210 a week ago in order to extend the WiFi network and be able to use both bands 2.4GHz & 5GHz since i do have devices that work in both bands. The reason i purchased RE210 was to have a better signal for the 2 of the 3 Foscam Web cameras i have inside my house. Setup was really easy (either through WPS setup or through Web GUI). I finished the setup and connected the RE210 to another TP-Link product (N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit ADSL2+ Modem Router, Model TDW8980) which i can say that i'm 1000% satisfied and works perfectly those 3,5 years. After finishing setup of RE210 i connected this device 4 meters away from the Main router and copied the configuration of both bands as per setup wizard. I changed also the WiFi connections of the cameras to the new Wireless Extender device RE210 since they are closer (1 - 2 meters away) so i can experience better signal and indeed scanning the Wireless Networks through the cameras device management gui, they show that RE210 has full singnal. i even checked in the RE210 GUI what signal strength it shows and in 2.4GHz it shows 70% signal strenght, and in 5GHz band it shows 48% signal strength. I thought that this signal is good enough for the Web Cameras to work better than previously. Unfortunately, cameras refuse to connect, and when sometimes (in random time) they connect after a while ago they loose their connection. I tried to change RE210 SSID (assuming a conflict) and tried to connect to the custom SSID (...._EXT). I reconnected the 2 WebCameras to the new SSID but again i face the same issues. The reason i selected RE210 was to avoid compatibility issues and also i was full satisfied with the operation of my ADSL2+ Router (TDW8980) so i told my wife that our only selection is TP-Link :D.
My Wireless Router firmware Version is : 0.6.0 1.5 v000e.0 Build 140408 Rel.49241n
Hardware Version is: TD-W8980 v1 00000000
My RE210 firmware Version is : RE210_V1_141204_EU.
Till now i spend one week trying to make RE210 work and being stable (since there are some occasional times when LED that shows signal strength goes to RED for 1-2 seconds and then back to Green. And of course i'm noticing Time-out's from Cameras Device Management GUI.
Any help will be highly appreciated. For my it is critical to find a work around even with RE210, or a better solution from TP-LINK or not. And when i disabled the RE210 the cameras went back online and immediately connected to the TP-Link Router TDW8980.
So although i'm not a Network Expert i can't explain why this is happening.

Upgrade latest firmware for RE210 first. If it is convenient for you, upgrade W8980 as well.

Thanks for the support help. Does it help to provide the configuration of the Router ? And also i assume what you recommend is a trial and error approach to see where the WiFi connection of RE210 with TD-W8980 will be more stable ?
Anyway i'm going to give it a try and see what happens.

If upgrade won't help, you can save config files and send them to TP-LINK support team for further analysis.
