WD MyCloud slow when connected to archer 7
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I need help, I'm being driven to dispair. My network consists of TP-Link Ac1750 archer C7 v2, WD MyCloud 4tb via Ethernet, desktop on ac wireless and 2014 MacBook Pro on wireless. I previously was running the windows desktop on a power line network but it was rubbish. When I do a speed test via ( www.speedtest.net) I get 34mbps from my fibre broadband. However when I read from my WD MyCloud I'm lucky to get 4mbps. I figured a MyCloud issue so disconnected it from the router and direct connected to the desktop, then got transfer speeds of 40 mbps +. Can anyone help with why I'm getting 10% of the speed from the WD MyCloud when connected to the router? Just as a note the MacBook does transfer slightly quicker bits still no where near 50mbps.Many thanks
