The utility for Windows 10 has not been release yet and your problem may be a compatibility issue...

Is the above still true? I've just installed a TL-WN823N V2 on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and downloaded the latest drivers and TP-LINK utility from http://uk.tp-link.com/download/TL-WN823N.html#Utility, but SoftAP mode is greyed out.

Hi guys, TP-link utility doesn't support soft ap on windows 10. You may use a third party utility, such as connectify.

I did find a way of doing it using the command line:

1. netsh wlan start hostednetwork
2. netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=[your chosen SSID] key=[WPA key]
3. Go to network connections and share the connection with your wired Local Area Connection

You may also have to look into your firewall settings to allow access.
