I see the version specifies Archer C7 V2(UN)

Not sure what the UN means. I'm holding off on applying this update until there is clarification.

Here is the answer;)

UN means universal version, which is the basic version. The firmware on global website is universal version (English). All latest official firmware will be first released on the global website. www.tp-link.com/en

The firmware on other regions including US is localized version. The localized version is based on the universal one, so it usually comes out later.

US firmware has little difference from the UN firmware. And the only difference I'd ever found is that the region setting must be US by default in US firmware. UN version and US version are almost the same except the default region....
