TP-LINK TL-WN725N Lenovo T400s with Windows Vista Business does not connect to TL WR 1043ND

I have set up nano adapter with included CD ROM utility, found the hardware and the wireless signal from router but in can connect only locally and dosnot connect to Internet.
Is there a solution for this? Any help will be very much appreciated, the laptop had wifi built in but does not work any longer, so using an adapter is the only way to continue using my laptop.
