I think there is a problem with my new router. The ping to the router is very inconsistent. My old router also tp-link has ping <1ms.

The connection is trough FTP cat.5e cable - 5 m. Can anyone help for this problem.

Not all routers give ICMP packets the high priority.

No need to mind this tiny difference

Yes i have and it is the same deal. Even ping to some major websites is inconsistent trough the router. When i plug the ISP cable directly in the PC the ping is normal without any fluctuations.

This is also happening to my Archer C2. Sometimes there will even be a timeout or a ping spike.

This needs to be adressed. Directly connected to my Netgear R7000 this doesn't happen, but using the Archer C2 as a wireless bridge, it does.

I hava same problem with my archer C2 , my older 1043ND is fine. I us C2 with PPPOE 1gbps connection from ISP

I see a lot of threads with this problem, just started mine before seeing this. I have the same problem. Archer C2 high ping, not only to the router itself but to webs/games the ping is higher than normal.

You are CAT 5e network cable ping or by wifi . if you check the horizontal two- way membrane with the same results , you try to change other cool features . You should also check whether the computer wifi card receivables how . not necessarily due to the router offline.
