Region : Argentina

Model : TL-WDR4300

Hardware Version : V1

I've just recently (3 days) ago purchased an Archer C2 router and I've noticed that it drops lan computers at a random interval.
More like a 30 seconds freeze and then everything is back to normal.

If I disable the Hardware NAT this does not seem to happen anymore, but my internet speed does drop considerably.
Some more details, like firmware and logs are :

Hi guys, your system log is normally.
But I am curious about your problem. Normally hardware NAT should not impatc the LAN connection.
Can you tell me when did the issue occur? All your lan computer will lose connection? Or can you login the web-interface when the problem occurs?

Hi
2014-11-28 17:11:15
Thanks for your answer and interest in the topic.

I tend to say that yes, to all computers in the house, but have not checked on all of them and they aren't being used for the same purpose as mine is.
My computer is connected to LAN 1 port.

Initially I didn't notice it when I installed the router, I did the framework update and then started my VPN. And then I've started noticing it (vpn gives message when it reconnects. The VPN software is not to be blamed, because issue shows up even when VPN soft isn't started).

Then I started noticing that I can't have a full skype conversation without the internet dropping for a few times...

I can login to the web interface when the connection comes back, because before that happens its kinda frozen.

P.S. disabled the hardware NAT this morning and not a single drop since then. But internet speed dropped with about 60% or so.

I think at this time the router hangs up. How about the LED light? Are they flashing?

I think the heavy traffic may be a reason of your issue.

Yeah, this is my opinion as well.

But, it doesn't really matter if it's light traffic or heavy traffic, the router should still work and not freeze as it does...
