Connection Preference feature on network with mixed Deco models
I have a network with a mixed bag of Deco models. M5, M4R, and E4R. My main Deco is one of the M5's which is supposed to have the "Connection Preference" feature. I can sort of understand if this feature is not available if there are other models on the network. But is there a work around or solution to this?
Can I unplug all "lower" models and use the Connection Preference feature on the M5's before powering back on the other models? If I buy a higher model (X50) will I have the same issue if I use other models on the same network?
No idea why my PC is connecting to a further Deco with weaker signal. Seems like the whole point of the Deco Mesh system is to connect to the node with the strongest signal which is not the case. Why even buy a Deco Mesh system if the main purpose is not working? Why not just buy an extender if my PC is not moving yet with Deco Mesh the connection to nodes changes constantly on the non-moving computer?
