As a secondary router with DHCP enabled
Region : Argentina
Model : TD-W8968
Hardware Version : V3
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have the TD-VG3631 and would like to set it up behind another router that is faster (AC). I would like to use the TP-Link router to allow access to a proxy service and need to change the DNS settings.
The primary router is set to 192.168.178.1 and typical mask and typical range.
The TP-Link is set up as 192.168.178.99 and the Ethernet cable is connect to the WAN/LAN port. On the TP-Link, DHCP is enabled. I want to connect to it separately when I want to get that proxy service, but it is not getting an Internet connection.
The primary router is connected, but reports that it is not using the Internet.
Please advise, particularly if there is more info needed.
Many thanks.
