Guys,

Is there any possibility to input a "default route" to a another network device inside the LAN, I mean, without using WAN side?

My LAN subnet is 192.168.10.0 /24 and I need to configure a default route to an IP 192.168.10.2 for instance.

I tried to input:

Destination Network: 0.0.0.0
Subnet Mask: 0.0.0.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.10.2
Status: Enabled

The asnwer from the router was:

Error code: 4001
Bad destination IP address, please input another one.

I ´ve already handle many others router and there I´m able to do that.

What about this Archer 7, is it possible? As a router it have to be possible!!!

Tks

You should realized that what you buy is a NAT router for SOHO applications, mainly for internet sharing for private networks. But your requirement can only be meet with a "traditional router", whcih usaully route between subnets.

Buy a cisco enterprise router. Or flash a openwrt and set up the desired router based on linux
