WDR3600 loosing hardware NAT

Hi guys.
I have a 1000Mbps internet connection (recently upgraded from 500Mbps) and I keep having the same problem. After few days the router seems to get tired ,sort of say, as it doesn't go over 200Mbps . Only thing that fixes it is a reboot of the router.
I have read numerous forums that suggested turning 5Ghz Wireless network off would fix it but no go. After 1-2 days only reboot fixes the slowdown.
Is this problem known? Is a fix in the works or I should give up and get another router?
