Default Gateway cant find it??

Hiya guys just wondering got a small problem. I got a new TpLink Router TL-WR740N and normally Ask4 doesnt allow 3rd party routers so i purchased the Ask4Connect to be able to do that and they said i have to disable the routers DHCP without accesing the main router just connecting it on my laptop. I do that but for some reason i cant enter the configuration from the browser and when i go check the Default Gateway from cmd with ipconfig its blank and now i cant set it up.
