Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.2 Build 20230906 rel.52143(4555)

Hi.

I have a strange issues with AX6000 as AP. WiFi is unstable and inconsistent. Cable connection is strong (800 with 500 speed)

Wifi 5is very unstable with D/U rate inconsistent (Down from 30mbps to 120mbps and Up from 50 to 160 mbps). Also is dropping very frequently.

Wifi 2.5 is more stable but also dropping connection (less than wifi5).

Is firmware downgrade a solution? Can be done?

Regards

Probably you could downgrade to the previous release -  Archer AX6000(EU)_V1_1.3.1 Build 20230731

But if that's an interference or a hardware issue, it won't work in these caases.

You have to identify the root cause for these drops:

As a start you may use Wi-Fi Analyzer or inSSIDer app to scan for a local wireless interference and set the less crowded wireless channels in the AX6000.

If that desn't help then try downgrading the AX6000 FW to the previous FW release.

If that desn't help either, you may have a HW issue with your AX6000 - contact your local support for further assistance.
