Model: RE450
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.0.20 Build 230213 Rel.55420n (6583)

My model is RE450(AS) V4.0. While it is one of compatibility list, I can't connect through OneMesh. Instead, I can use as extender only. Current main router is EX510 AX3000 and Firmware is up to date. In app, it says "The current main router does not support OneMest". Pls help to use OneMesh.

Do you have the "Band Steering" option activated on your EX510 router? (this is the feature that makes the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and the 5 GHz Wi-Fi appear as one network)

In case it is, then switch it off and try again whether the RE450 detects the router as supporting EasyMesh.

Furthermore, it is recommended to use the WPS method to add the RE450 to a router's EasyMesh network:

Hi,

The RE450 V4 is on the OneMesh compatibility list, but the EX510 is not.

https://www.tp-link.com/en/onemesh/product-list/#wi-fi-routers

A Mesh network can only be established between devices that support the same variant of Mesh.

However, if you have a RE450 V4 running firmware version 1.0.20, then it should actually support EasyMesh, which is also supported by the EX510.

Can you please confirm whether the respective menu item in the web management interface of the RE450 reads [ OneMesh ] or [ EasyMesh] ?

Yes, you are right. It's EasyMesh as below. But it indicates "Not connected to any EasyMesh Network".

Meanwhile, if I try to add Agent as Mesh Device via Aginet Mobile App, it can't find RE450 which is working as Extender. And I am using Tether Mobile App for RE450 (as Aginet wouldn't support RE450). In Tether App, there is no EasyMesh selection, but OneMesh only.
