I want to use a VOIP service but the VOIP option is greyed out when I enable IPTV/VLAN (see screen print below)

What do I need to do to enable this and allow me to enter the SIP details?

Hi,

 

You need to choose "Custom" mode and then enter the VoIP VLAN ID given by the Internet Service Provider. (refer to screenshot below)

Note that these settings are only for routing tagged VoIP VLAN traffic to a certain LAN port.

 

If you are using a SIP VoIP service you will still need either a stand-alone VoIP phone that allows the SIP details to be entered directly into that phone or a separate SIP-compatible VoIP Gateway or ATA that allows a conventional phone to be used.
