My main Deco is connected to a Zyxel ex3301-t0 in router mode. The Zyxel is reading the deco's final mac address number as F1. The Deco app and the label on the base of the Deco says F0.

I'm having a problem whereby the Deco is connected, but no internet. Removing and re-attaching the ethernet cable has no effect. I have to power down, then power up the Deco to re-establish internet connection. This problem is random and occurs about every 2 days. The Zyxel is not losing internet connection. I have a Ring alarm hub attached to the Zyxcel by ethernet cable and if the internet goes down the ring hub will alert me it has gone to cell connection.

All my smart home devices and cameras are connected to my Deco S4 mesh and I need reliability.

Do I have a faulty Deco unit?
