NX 600 Bridge Mode?
Greetings,
I recently got the Archer NX600, which has replaced my existing Fritzbox 7530AX (the DSL speed at my location was too slow at 70-80 Mbps).
First of all, the speed is incredible! In the 5G network, using an external antenna, I get an average of 200-280 Mbps, which is extremely fast by German standards.
Now to my problem: Initially, I wanted my Fritzbox to continue managing my smart home devices, with the Archer only acting as a modem. However, it does not have a bridge or AP mode.
I have tried many things but haven't found a working solution. Due to smart home devices and gaming in the household, I want to avoid double NAT as much as possible or at least reduce it to a minimum.
There is an option to disable NAT, but whenever I do that, I lose access to the Archer and have to reset it using the reset button.
Is there a step-by-step guide on how to set this up properly? I have looked at various guides for older models, but they don’t seem to apply here.
I am planning the following setup:
Archer NX600 as a modem → TP-Link ER7212PC as a router and Omada controller → Omada TP-Link EAP653 AX3000 as Wi-Fi gateways.
I would appreciate any help!
