wr740n not connecting to internet

wr740n not connecting to internet

hello,
i was using router perfectly since two months but then suddenly my router was unable to connect internet.i had made pppoeconnection and entered correct isp login details but still its not connecting its just stuck on connecting status.
i contacted my isp it says may be your ip is blocked or you need to be multiple user to use wifi router service so pay 350rs extra for it.
can isp do such things for two months i had no problem but now i can only use net on laptop.
i just have a rj-45 cable or ethernet cable which goes to laptop no other modem provided to me i just connect wire to lappy and then connect net via a shortcut made by isp.
