Model: M7350
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.10 Build 181220 Rel.1066n

Hello,

I have a TP LInk M7350 4G LTE (EU) with hardware version 5.0 that I would like to update, as I have some power setting issues with it and I see that one of the updates is trying to fix this.

But after downloading the firmware file from this site (https://www.tp-link.com/se/support/download/m7350/v5/#Firmware) it fails to upload. It seems that the firmware file is broken. I have also tried from other regions too, such as https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/download/m7350/v5/#Firmware

Could you please help me update my router?

I have factory reset the router and tried to upload the firmware file, but it always fails with " Update failed. The update file may be damaged."

Thank you,

Esgg

  @Marvin_S

Thank you for the reply, much appreciated. The article you pointed me to made me realize that there is a ZIP file inside a ZIP file. So one needs to upload the ZIP file inside the ZIP file for the firmware update to work. Generally, there is a *.bin file that one needs to upload to update the firmware, but in this case the company took a different approach to confuse users. All good now, cheers.
