Coming from this thread (https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/159689) and similar ones, I thing we need some advanced options for all the Deco products, specially if we use them on AP mode.

I opened a few months ago a thread explaining why we need to be able to disable the wireless backhaul on some network configurations avoiding network loops that can disable the Ethernet port of a switch if the Decos loose connection between them if your're restarting a switch (i.e.).

But there are other advanced options that we should have, and I said "specially if we use them on AP mode" for a reason. The guest network and the IoT one are useless if you can't isolate them. I suppose in router mode they work as expected, but in AP mode it just create new SSID's that can see and communicate with the main network. I don't understand why no one took this issue into consideration when developing the product. Ok, If you don't want to do it, or if you don know how to do it, let me do it for you.

TP-Link should implement any way to enable an advanced mode were we could enable guest or IoT networks and set a VLAN for this, or disable the wireless backbone that I said previously. If they doesn't want to implement this on the app to keep this product as clean as possible, well... they can add this option via web on the main deco. But now I have a pair of XE75 Pro and I just feel that I have a very expensive dumb AP's.

I have been using Deco AP's for many years and there some necessary and long awaited features, like the ability to set the wireless channels manually that never arrived, but at least now we have a button to optimize the wireless network.
