The bandwidth meter (Upload and Download) on the BE800 (And probably other routers) counts only IPv4 traffic. With IPv6 being more and more commonly used, it should be included.

 

In fact, the bandwidth measurement should be done at Layer 2 on an ethernet frame level.

It has been confirmed that this feature is currently only available after disabling IPv6. I'll make sure to log this feature request and pass it along to the team.
