Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20240809

Hello TP-Link Team,

I would like to propose a feature for the router’s firmware that would allow time-based control to enable/disable specific URLs in the Deny List.

Currently, the "Time Controls" feature allows users to cut off internet access entirely, but I would like a more specific option where I can set times to turn on and off certain URLs on the Deny List.

Feature Request:

  • Allow users to specify a time schedule to enable or disable specific URLs on the Deny List.
  • This will help in controlling access to certain websites during specific hours without completely cutting off the internet.

Why This Feature Would Be Useful:

  • It will allow more granular control of internet access, especially for parents or administrators who want to restrict access to certain websites during specific hours (e.g., restricting access to social media during study hours).
  • This would also be helpful in business environments where certain sites need to be blocked during working hours and accessible at other times.

I believe this feature would be a valuable addition to the existing Time Controls, and I hope to see it in future firmware updates.

Hi  @muntazer,

Thank you for posting in the TP-Link community, we appreciate all your feedback and feature requests.

Your suggestion has been made public in the 'Feature Request (Routers)' module, I believe more people will see it.
I will also report it to the relevant technical department, and if it passes the evaluation, it may be added in the new firmware in the future.

If you have any other feature requests, please feel free to let us know, and we will be happy to send it to you.
