If you have no other Ethernet cable, then this will be difficult to troubleshoot. Sometimes a cable can be faulty, no matter what grade is it.
Can you see a brand name and/or model name on the router from the fiber company?
Besides that, what you could try is to update the driver for the network card and see if that makes any difference.

Hi, welcome to our community.
Here are some suggestions for your reference:
1. Check Cable and Port:
Ensure that the Ethernet cable is properly connected to both the 3468 card and the router.
Try using a different short Ethernet cable or port on the router to rule out a faulty cable or port.
2. Network Adapter Settings:
Go to Device Manager and locate your 3468 network card.
Right-click on it and select Properties. Under the Advanced tab, check the speed and duplex settings. Ensure it's set to Auto-Negotiation.
3. Network Configuration:
Open Network Connections (you can search for it in the Start menu).
Right-click on your 3468 network connection and select Properties. Ensure that the protocol (usually Internet Protocol Version 4) is enabled.
4. Disable Integrated Card:
Make sure the old integrated network card is completely disabled in BIOS, not just in Windows. Sometimes, disabling it in Windows alone does not stop it from interfering.
5. Check Windows Settings:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status and click on Network Reset. This will reinstall your network adapters.
6. Test Different Device:
If possible, try the 3468 card in another computer to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if it's a hardware issue with the card itself.
7. Check for Conflicts:
Ensure there are no IP address conflicts in your network. You might want to set a static IP address for testing purposes.
8. Reinstall the Card:
Sometimes replugging the card can help. Turn off your computer, remove the card, and insert it again securely.
Thank you and best regards.

thank you for the reply
number 2 on the list, it do not list the 3468 but shows #2 of the internal card when 3468 is in the slot. (see pictures before and after 3468 are mounted)
I have changed setting in bios, nothing helps.
when ethernet cable ARE IN 3468 led are green and internet work but are limited to speed of the internal card (100)

Hi,
So you have a PC with a motherboard that has an onboard Gigabit Ethernet Port, but when you connected the Ethernet cable you only got 100 Mbps.
Now you've installed a separate TG-3468 in that PC and when you connect it to that same cable as above you also only get 100 Mbps.
Is that what you are saying?
Given that chances of two different Gigabit Ethernet adapters having the same fault would be rather tiny, I think it is more likely that the problem is caused elsewhere.
Have you already tested with another Ethernet cable? (i.e. replaced the cable)
What device is at the other and of that Ethernet cable? Can you please post brand and model of that device?

pc has an integrated network card on the motherboard.
I mount 3468 in the slot (there are only 1 slot).
I fit the ethernet kabel into 3468, I get green led.
if you see the 2 pic, one is before mounting 3468 and the other after,
looks like it is not finding 3468 and sets #2 on the internal card.
I have changed in bios UEFI to enable, did not help
when ethernet kabel are in 3468, internet works but same speed as before. (goes through the internal card?)

That means the integrated network card of the motherboard is "Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller" and the TG-3468 is "Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller #2".
It just happens that your motherboard uses the same type of chip like the TG-3468 uses. These Realtek chips are by far the most common Gigabit Ethernet network chips nowadays.
