My third Deco X50 suddenly not connecting clients
My third Deco X50 suddenly not connecting clients
![](/avatar/avatar-15.png)
I have a 3-pack Deco X50 AX3000 and everything was working well.
Suddenly, my 3rd deco is unable to connect clients. It only works if a client is wired to it. Wireless is not working.
i tried resetting but to no avail. App can see the 3rd deco but its connected clients is always zero, even if I force the client to connect to it (3rd deco) via app.
Please help.

David has included the link in an earlier reply to you , if you go back and find the attached reply , click on the highlighted link , it will take you to the relevant page , you can then select your 1.2 version of the beta firmware and " manually" download it to your x50 .
to do this the instructions are included as well on that same page . But basically to need to find the ip address of the specific x50 that's causing you the issue ( which you'll be able to see from finding the x50 on your app), then open up a web page google , safari etc , put in the ip address and it will open up the online homepage of the x50 in question , go through the menu and find update firmware , attach the beta firmware and install it .

Hi Alick, thanks for the replies.
Unfortunately, issue still the same. Had my firmware updated. Anything I might miss?

morning Mike
definitely sounds like an issue with x50 rather than firmware etc , I'd push it back to David at To link for advice , without having it in front of me it's a bit hard to sort out over a keypad . Good luck

Thank you very much Alick for the time and help, really appreciate it mate.
Do hope this issue gets resolved soon. Just got this deco set last July 2024.

@MikeFlash the only other thing I think I'd do ( and you've probably done it already , delete it from the app and off your account totally and factory reset the x50 , move it really close to your master , and set it up again getting it to connect directly to the master , once you've done that power everything off and move the x50 back to where it should be , power everything back on in sequence from master out to the duff x50 and see what happens , I think after that I'd try and set it up locally to the master and connect it with a cat5 / Ethernet direst to the master , just to see what happens when it's connected via copper rather that wirelessly.
