Differences Deco X60 v3.2 vs v4.2?
Hello
I have purchased 3 Deco X60 at Amazon and received two v3.2 and one v4.2. Whats the difference between them? Both are AX5400 but what else?
Regardless of the IoT problem (https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/734098), which one should be set-up as base station?
Kind regards

Hi, It would be better to use V3.2 as the main Deco.
The main difference would be the outer package. Usually, various hardware versions of the same model utilize different chipset solutions to deliver comparable network performance.
Thank you very much and best regards.

@David-TP Thanks for the update, will switch them later this day.
Does that mean, HW v3.2 is "more powerful"? :)
I would find it better to have a "clean 3.2 only mesh". But since Amazon sends 3.2 and 4.2 mixed, the only option would be that TP-Link exchanges my 4.2 to a 3.2.
Is this possible?

I don't think so. It is just because there are 2*pack V3.2. Connecting to the same main Deco V3.2, if there are any potential issues, having different versions as the satellite units might help with the comparison tests.
As for the exchange, I'm afraid it might not be possible. The local warranty office mainly deals with the warranty request.
Thank you very much and best regards.
