Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20241031 rel.70279(4555)

I just bought an Archer AX73 router on Amazon. I created a new TP-Link ID account. I connected the router and when I try to log in to my account and bind the router to it, I see the error “You cannot log in to this router since you are not a manager of it. Please ask the owner to add you to the managers list.”. I tried resetting the router, it didn't help. So my router was previously activated and bound to a different TP-Link ID? How can I reset it? Thank you!

Hi  @dmn_daemon,

Thank you for reaching out to us via email and providing the router's bottom information label and purchase proof. We have applied for unbinding the router for you, so you can now try to bind the router to your TP-Link ID again.

  @dmn_daemon

Hi just a question, was the router bought 2nd hand or brand new?

If bought 2nd hand/used:

Usually when a router is linked to an account and you don't have the account details and no way to retrieve them no factory reset will help......unless you can contact the seller

If bought new still sealed:

see link here on tp-link forum not device specific just info on how.

Muffinman it was bought brand new, wrapped in plastic. So I was very surprised that I couldn't bind it to my account.
