While keeping Deco mesh in Access Point mode, force Main Network to run on 5GHz only. You will find this option under WiFi Setting in Deco app:

 

 

Also, try different speed test apps and sites. My preferred are OOkla speed test app and fast.com web site.

If that does not help, please clarify this: "Hardwired is fine at full speed everywhere" - hardwired through Main Deco or directly to ISP modem/router?

 

Also, network diagram would by nice to have, it may help in further troubleshooting.

 

 

Thanks both! 5ghz didn't make any difference, I'm still limited to about 90mb/s over WiFi. :(

 

Network itself is hardwired from ISP router to switch to individual points throughout the house.

 

One of these goes into main deco, this deco then hard wired into all the following decos via distribution over their own dedicated gigabit tp link POE switch

It sounds like Main Deco having 100Mbps link speed to ISP router instead of gigabit. Is there an "Abnormal WAN speed" alert in Deco app?

Thanks! Nope, no error message like that but it sounds reasonable as a starting point! Any way I could test for it, or resolve?

Unplug whatever is plugged to second Ethernet port of Main Deco, connect to it laptop instead and run speed tests on laptop wired to Main Deco.

 

You can also repeat the same with each Satellite Deco to find if they have better than 100Mbps Ethernet backhaul link.
