Hi all, 

 

I've just moved to OneStream today but I can't seem to connect. I'm using a BE550 which I've done a factory reset on and although I select PPPoE and input the username/password but it's not connecting. Could it be a case of my account not having been finished setting up? It does say it may take until midnight. Or has anyone else tried and failed like me?

Hi, welcome to our community.

Did your ISP Onestread tell you the internet connection type is PPPoE and the username&password? If not, please confirm with them as the information needs to be provided by them.

May I confirm your network topology? For example, is there any modem/modem router in front of Archer BE550? if there is a modem router already, you may try Dynamic IP on Archer BE550.

If it is urgent for you to access the internet, it is also suggested to contact local technical hotline for direct help.

Hi Marvin, Many thanks for getting back to me. As it was, it seems as if it was a OneStream issue as at around 8am, it suddenly burst into life and my internet connection started working as expected. They said it should have been up by midnight but it seems their clocks were a bit out! Not to worry, thanks for your help again. Now to go and test out this router a bit more!
