Model: Archer TX55E
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

After reinstalling windows, i've been having issues. For one, it keeps saying that it failed to detect the adapter. In device manager it also doesnt appear, it just shows an intel one

On speedtest sometimes the bar thing just freezes and sometimes Im getting around 412mbps and sometimes it drops all the way down to 100 and sometimes 4-8. Sometimes it just cuts out all together for a couple of seconds.

I can't join any online games because they just dont load and give me connection errors because of this.

Hi,

Did you only reinstall Windows and after that the Wi-Fi card showed the problems you described? No hardware was changed or modified on the computer?

By the way, the item "Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX210 160MHz" is the Archer TX55E.

The two "PCI Device" must be some other components for which you haven't installed drivers yet.
If you need help in identifying these two PCI Device, then right-click on each of them and select "Properties", then in the new window that opens select the "Detailed Information" tab and then select "Hardware ID" from the drop down. Then post a PCI\VEN_****&DEV_**** line for each PCI Device here.

Thanks for responding

Before reinstalling windows everything worked fine with the wifi card, and my wifi signal. What I did was the following: Install a new drive for storage, install a new gpu to replace my old one, reinstall windows on the NEW drive

I did end up realizing that, that was the chipset, I was looking for "TP-Link..."

Ok, so you have installed a new PCIe graphics card in that computer, right?

What I can tell you is that I've owned a PC myself that experienced issues like you describe after I installed a GeForce GTX 1660 card. After trying various things (even replacing the Wi-Fi card) without luck the one thing I found that did help was to replace the antennas that were directly attached to the backside of the Wi-Fi card with an antenna similar to the one that comes, for example, with this https://www.tp-link.com/en/home-networking/pci-adapter/archer-tx3000e. In my particular case using this type of antenna improved the Wi-Fi from unusable to fairly good (but still not perfect).
I assume that GeForce card I installed must be creating too much electromagnetic interference.

  @woozle

Thank you for trying to help!

I just wasted my money on a replacement because TP-Link and I thought it was just faulty. Turned out you're most likely right, my old gpu was like 1450 and new one is 1950 iirc
So there is a difference and the speeds on speedtest fluctuate wierdly so It is probably my GPU. I'll look into getting one of those things you were talking about, thanks!
