Hello, sorry for my bad english. I have a big problem with my new tplink router AX 72 Pro . Until now I have always been with Asus and modified Merlin firmware. I installed my new router, but I have a problem with video casting. I use a video casting browser for Android like CASTIFY. I tried with others, but it still doesn't work. I don't have any problems with the YouTube app, but I do with everything else.

I can see my devices, but when I try to connect, nothing happens. Note that I do not have a guest network and have not restricted any of my devices in any way. It doesn't matter which network I'm on (2.4 or 5 GHz) My TVs are connected to the router with a LAN cable. When I connect my old Asus router, I have no problems. Can you guide me for the problem?

And can you insert DoH/DoT on this new router? However, this is important for security, and such a new router does not yet have this function.

Hi  @Barutchiev,

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

Cable modem—router )))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection)

Was the TV previously set with a static IP by the old router? Can other client devices access each other, except the TV? If so, can you reset the TV or contact support to check the settings on the TV?

Regarding models supported by DoH and DoT functions, it is recommended that you pay attention to the New Release Wi-Fi Routers Support DoH and DoT

Feel free to let us know of any other feature requests you may have, we’d be happy to send them up for you.

I never used static IPs on the old router. All client devices have access to each other. The two TVs are different brands, but the problems are the same on both. I also tried with Xiaomi Mi Box S (with its chromecast) And it doesn't work. All Chromecast devices are visible, but do not cast anything (do not connect)

A little update on the problem.. If the clip (movie) has a built-in sign for transmission on chromecast - I manage to transfer it to my TVs. But any other apps like CASTIFY, Web video caster, Cast to tv, fail. With the old router they worked without problems . I mostly use my phone, and the sites I use don't always have this function. That's why I used these apps. I'm already wondering if the problem is some blocked port.UPnP is enabled. I would appreciate any help and suggestions.

 Hi @Barutchiev,

This is indeed strange, but did you set up port forwarding or other advanced features on the old router? I suggest you contact TV support to confirm whether you need to make any settings changes on the new router.

When you cast a video, please make sure that your phone is properly connected to the router's WiFi.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I haven't configured any ports on the old router. Regarding the TV support, I don't think it's one of them, because I have to turn to Samsung, LG and Xiaomi. The problem comes from this router. I changed it again for a test and everything is OK with the old one. Of course I'm on one network. I've only released one.

A similar issue but with a different device was described here.

Make sure your HomeCare feature is disabled (I believe this shuld be done via Tether app).

Make sure that Device Isolation feature is not activated:

What are your IPTV/VLAN settings - disable these like that:
