Model: Deco X50-5G
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.1

Hi guys.

I'm looking for some help with a new Deco X50-5G (v1 1.2.1) upgrade from an Archer MR200 4g. I have three M9-Plus satellite units connected by ethernet and many Kasa and Tapo devices.

I believe the ISP is good. It's the same 4g sim, I'm waiting for the 5g account upgrade. Speed tests are good.

The system which was rock solid is now suffering many connection issues. My Android galaxy S23 will not stay connected to the WiFi. It seems also the problem with the Tapo devices which show disconnected in the Tapo app.

It also failed with the red LED. I could not access it and reset it.

Could it be an issue with the ip address reservation? The M9-Plus units also show green, solid red and flashing red.

Can the X50-5G be used for ISP connection and a main M9-Plus to provide ip addresses?

Many thanks.

Hi, Since the SIM card uses 4G network, have you tried to set the "Network Mode" on the Deco X50-5G to "4G only"?

I don't think IP address reservation might cause the instability issue.

Can the X50-5G be used for ISP connection and a main M9-Plus to provide ip addresses?

- Deco X50-5G supports "Bridge Mode" under Deco APP>More>Operation Mode. You could set it in "Bridge mode" and then create a new Deco Mesh via Deco M9 plus. Deco M9 plus will work as the DHCP router.

Thank you very much and best regards.

I might have solved the problem. After many attempts to log in to the web management page, it showed an M9-Plus satellite as the main Deco. This wasn't shown in the app. I disconnected the ethernet to that M9-Plus and the system appears stable.

Thanks.
