Model: RE200
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.23 Build 230418 Rel.60395n

Hello,

I have two RE200 V5 devices. The first RE200 V5 is configured as an Access Point (AP) using a LAN connection from the main router, while the second RE200 V5 is connected as a range extender to the first RE200 V5 (AP).

Is it possible to create a mesh network between these two devices?

Also another question is Can these range extenders be connected to any single deco under one mesh network ?

Regards,

Arun

Hi,

Creating an EasyMesh network purely between TP-Link's "Range Extender" devices is unfortunately not supported.

I think at present only one particular version of the Deco X50/X55 supports EasyMesh.
All other Deco models do neither support EasyMesh nor OneMesh and therefore cannot create a Mesh network with the RE200. Perhaps more Deco models will get support for EasyMesh in the future via firmware updates.
