Hallo zusammen,

 Hi @Kw23,

According to the translation of Google Translate, I think that your question is DDNS not working normally. If there is any discrepancy, please describe it in English.

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

Cable modem—router )))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

For your issue, please try the following suggestions:

1. Check Internet Connection

Make sure your device has a stable Internet connection.

Test the connection by pinging an external website (e.g., ping google.com).

2. Verify DDNS Settings

Double-check your DDNS configuration settings:

Hostname: Make sure the hostname is correct.

Username/Password: Verify that the credentials are accurate.

Service Provider: Confirm that you are using the correct DDNS provider settings.

3. Router Configuration

Make sure DDNS is enabled in your router settings.

Check if there is a section specifically for DDNS in your router firmware (usually under WAN or Network settings).

4. Firewall and Security Settings

Check if any firewall or security settings on your router or network are blocking DDNS updates.

Temporarily disable security features to see if that resolves the timeout issue.

5. Update Interval

Some DDNS services have a specific update interval. If you try to update too frequently, it may cause a timeout.

Wait a few minutes and try again.

6. Check DDNS Provider Status

Visit your DDNS provider's website to check for any outages or maintenance notices.

Some providers may have a status page for this purpose.

7. Try a manual update

If supported, try manually updating the DDNS entry through your DDNS provider's web interface to ensure the service is functioning properly.
