Model: Deco X55
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.8 Build 20240731 Rl 8910

I've seen a lot of discussion of this topic but none of the fixes work. I have 2 routers in the mesh. The printer connects to the WiFi but fails to get a DHCP lease. Even if I fix the IP address, I cannot ping it. It looks like there is no route to the printer.

However, if I turn off one of the routers, it all works and I can see the printer. It looks like the printer and the computer need to be on the same router for it to work.

I have Fast Roaming disabled (which was one of the suggestions).

@Alexandre. Yes, I did. I now just route through that to the ISP.

Ok, here's what seems to be a fix. I have put the Deco into Access Point mode rather than Wi-Fi Router. This means that clients now use the DHCP server in the original router rather than the Deco, and now I can find the printer.

This seems like a bug to me, but this workaround is acceptable.

If your HP printer has Ethernet port, try connecting it to Main or to Satellite Deco with Ethernet cable.

Before Deco mesh, you must have had ISP modem to which HP printer was connected wirelessly. Do you still have that ISP modem in your home network and have you made any changes in its configuration after you added Deco mesh?
