Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a strange issue and could use some advice. I have a stable 400Mb/s connection, and when I run speed tests, both the speed and ping are fine. However, when gaming online or using real-time applications, I experience packet loss, which severely impacts performance.

What's odd is that this doesn't happen when I use a PLC adapter, even though the connection is slower through the PLC. This makes me think the problem isn't with my ISP but possibly with some component or configuration in my network.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Any ideas on where I should start troubleshooting?

Thanks in advance for your help! 😊

Hi, welcome to our community.

According to your analysis, it is more suggested to check the settings on your router.  Is your router also from TP-Link? If so, what is the exact model?

Is your computer connected to 2.4GHz or 5GHz of your router?

You may refer to Case2 in the guide to troubleshoot.
