Firmware Version: 1.2.0

Hi, I have just updated my router with the latest firmware, this adds iot network which I have setup.
I cannot see this network on my iPhone or enter it manually as a hidden network so I cannot therefore add any of my smart life iot devices as the smart home app needs to be on the network to setup these devices.

it seems a good idea to have them separate but is there a solution for this?

I've tried disabling the password and turning on and off and rebooting but it will never connect.

thanks

Hi, is the "IOT Network" detectable by other mobile devices, like the computer/tablet?

Would there be any special characters in the IOT SSID, like space or "_"?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

No removing the underscore didn’t change anything

Thanks for the feedback.

I'd like to follow up on your case via email to ask the senior engineer for further assistance.

By the way, could you please help me run a test:

if we enable the Guest network in 2.4GHz only and use the same SSID and password or "no security", will the Guest SSID be detected?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

I have the same problem of IoT network not visible from any device. I would like to try the beta firmware you suggested... Is it reliable enough? How long will we have to wait for a stable version?

  @Stefatax

after speaking to support they advised me to reset the router to factory settings that then made this work for me without the beta software.

To keep the devices connected, did you set the same SSID and password for the wifi network?

yes I used the old WiFi name and address but .... sadly you can't move them over to the iot network so you have to delete and re-add each device.
some iot will let you change WiFi addresses but none of mine did!
