So it turned out to be a bit of user error - the PC that I mainly use is connected on the 2.5gb port, but since I made the change you recommended I didn't test it on here.

The PC I was testing on, has had completely new hardware installed since I originally set up WolOn.  There's a good chance it wasn't working before (I don't recall needing to use wol for it) as that PC stays online 24/7 anyway.  So of course, the MAC address etc in the app was incorrect.

Anyway, the main desktop PC works just fine now.  I've also noticed the other machine will wake up if I attempt to access one of its hard drives remotely (which I do a lot) so that won't be an issue.

Cheers for the help :)
