Just to advise that I am not facing the same high CPU usage problem with this firmware. CPU usage seems normal.

@madvinegar Are you using the X50-5G alone or in a mesh with other Deco devices?

Hello @David-TP,
I was happy to see the DOH/DOT DNS feature, however after setting it up I found it to be almost unusable, if Deco x50-5G is running in "4G/5G router" operation mode. The computer (mac os in my case) will receive the DNS settings from Deco under the local IP address (see the sccreenshot below), however, if the ISP provider also supports IPv6, the computer will also receive the IPv6 DNS server from my internet provider.
Unfortunately, the IPv6 DNS resolvers have usually a higher priority for DNS lookup (mac os, windows, chrome os) and the "local DNS resolver" that uses "DNS over TLS" is almost never used.
I would like to say in advance that turning off IPv6 in the ISP settings is not the right solution!
Support for DHCPv6 settings when Deco works in "4G/5G router" operation mode would most likely solve this issue.

@David-TP Can you inform the team to add popular device categories such as smart fan, air purifier, humidifier/dehumidifier and smart speaker?

Thanks and I will record it first.
PS: I saw some users used emoji icon in the device name and I think it is a good workaround. Best regards.

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback. While you are right and the current DOH/DOT feature hasn't covered IPv6 DNS request.
Can you start a feature request here in case other users might have the same needs?

@David-TP I noticed another thing after the update. The phantom "new device" under the TP-Link Corporation Limited has appeared twice now. When clicked for more details, it says device has been removed?
What could that be? TP-Link remotely accessing my network?

Hello and good evening,
I would also like to update to the firmware.
Does the Deco X50 5G have a web interface for updating? I thought management was only possible via the app.
Unfortunately I don't have access to the devices as they are in my vacation home, so I would have liked to know before I go there.
Kind regards from Germany
