Model: RE450
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: RE450(US)_V4.8_1.0.20 Build 230213

Hello, this is the same issue as this locked thread, which did not seem to be resolved: https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/227290 .

Issue Description:

When connected to the extended network, it is not possible to open certain websites (Google products are okay, most other websites are not).

There is no problem opening any website when connected directly to the router.

There is no parental block in place.

Firmware is up-to-date.

The Tether app does not indicate the presence of any problems.

I have tried changing the primary DNS of the router to the extender IP and it did not work.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

  @ExtenderUserJ

Hi,

Thanks for the information you provided.

If all devices have the same issue, please also reset the range extender and set up again.

  @Sunshine

Hi, thanks for the response.

Hard resets (physical button) have been tried several times but did not resolve the problem.

Yes, the problem is encountered on all devices connected to the extender. The problem is not present when the same devices are connected directly to the main wireless network.
