Model: Archer NX200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0 3.0.0 v60a2.0 Build 240627 Rel.48750n

Hello,

Have an Archer NX200 for a few months now.  No real issues besides some missing features, but overall working great.

On the web admin page, it states I have firmware version 1.3.0 3.0.0 v60a2.0 Build 240627 Rel.48750n

On the website (and Ive looked at all possible international websites, even found that there is a HW v2 of this device) the latest version available is

Archer NX200(EU)_V1_240519, with a publication date of 2024-09-02

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/archer-nx200/v1/

Is the version on my device the latest, or is the one on the TP-Link website the latest.  I do not see my current device version for download anywhere.  Should I go ahead and flash the version on the TP-Link website??  Is there any newer upcoming versions?

Also, what are the differences between V1 and V2 of the NX200 hardware?

Thanks

I think that is a Thai-specific firmware - did you buy the device in Thailand? I can see it if I scroll down here: https://www.tp-link.com/th/support/download/archer-nx200/ (note if you are not in Thailand it will probably redirect you to your local TP-Link website) I would also like to know the answer to your questions, though.

@Flounder6426 I bough the device in Poland.  On the polish TP-Link site I see the same firmware versions as on the Thailand site.  No difference in version numbers, except for the the last entry on the Thai site.

Anyways, I flashed the latest available firmware, by date of release, 2024-09-02, and now the device shows 1.1.0 3.0.0 v60a2.0 Build 240519 Rel.754n (previous one was 1.3.0 3.0.0 v60a2.0 Build 240627 Rel.48750n).

To me this is a bit confusing as the build number is now lower then the previous version I had originally (as was shipped), even thou the date of publication is newer.

Also, the "Check for Upgrades" button still says no upgrade available.  This was also the case with the previous firmware.

Maybe this is a bug with both firmware versions??

Hmm, that is confusing indeed. Hopefully somebody from TP-Link can confirm. Is the device working well for you?

@Flounder6426 Yes, overall the device is working fine.  Some minor problems such as  not being able to lock into 5G only mode, and QoS seems to be partially broken (in the tether app I can define upload and download bandwidth, but that has no effect).

@Pumba_99 Also seems that the upload bandwidth is limited.  Placing my phone in exactly the same place as the NX200 I can achieve just over 70mbps upload.  With the NX200, upload speeds are between 10 to 20mbps.

Download speeds are similar on my phone and the NX200, approximately 500mpbs, which is more than enough for me, and this is why I am also interested in limiting the download speed, but QoS seems not to be working correctly.

  @Pumba_99

Hi,

How did you set up the QoS settings? Did you apply speed limits to individual devices?

Please kindly share more details about the issue you met.
