Deco X50-5G loses 5g after 1.1.5 firmware update
Hello,
I´m facing a issue that running 1.1.5 or 1.1.7 firmware, i´m losing ability to to use N78 or N28 5G and deco seems to be stuck to using 4G LTE (B20).
Even if you try to run Band settings or use cell lock it won´t have any effect to connection. Settings on the connection are not making any change.
With firmware 1.1.3 i can use n78 and n28 bands normally selecting them from band menu. B20 is the strongest at area -80dBm but it´s not the fastest.
Before factory reset, is there anything i could try ?

i did not get it to work. I think wait for new firmware if that fixes it.
Somehow i think its related which band is most strongest in the area. Been running now firmware 1.1.3 without problems.

The dev team reached out to me via email, I explained what the problem was and they sent me a confidential beta firmware to try it out.
This confidential Beta firmware seems to be working as intended, i.e. actually locking the bands I select.
I asked them when will this confidential/beta be released officially. They replied that they will do it some time in the future after further testing.
