Hi All,

 

 

I'm considering to buy Archer BE550 but it's not very clear how much I can manage it.

Can someone share if there are the following capabilities:

- schedule Wi-fi to be disabled/enabled in specific time

- setup the router in bridge mode . I need to "merge" existing network with the devices behind this one, so it shouldn't NAT

When the router is placed on it's side , does it affect the wifi range and performance ?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting TP-Link Community.

 

Archer BE550 supports WIFI schedule function, which allows you to turn off WIFI in specific time. Please refer to 7.2. Schedule Your Wireless Function in its User Guide for more information. 

 

Archer BE550 has two operation modes. wireless router mode and access point mode.

If you want to aovide double NAT issue, you can set it up in access point mode.

 

It is not recommended to place on it's side, as it may impact the product's performance.

  @Sunshine , thanks for the respond. It was quite helpful.

Can you recommend a TP link router that is with lower height as the location of the old one is quite narrow (restricting height) but long (depth and width are not limited) ?
