Hello, network noob here!

I recently changed ISPs and the new router is an EX230v, which supports Easymesh. I need a better signal on the top floor, so picked up an RE315, which is also listed in the Easymesh device list on the TP Link site.

However, when connecting the RE using WPS it just works as a traditional extender. Logging into the RE it appears to have Onemesh but not Easymesh (screenshot below).

Can anyone confirm if these should be compatible and if so what I need to do? Thanks
