I would say this is a leftover from previous HW v2 and HW v3 releases.
If you open the datasheet for HW v4 you won't find VPN server mentioned either.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
Archer A6 V4 does not support VPN server. May I confirm whether you purchased the router? If VPN server function is necessary for you, you may consider returning it asap.
We certainly appreciate all your feedback here. While we don't have any specific details that I can share around if this feature can come to this home router, or when it might, I'll make sure to log this feature request and pass it along to the team.
I'm moving this conversation into the ‘Feature Request (Routers)' area and tagging it as a ‘Future Consideration’ for better visibility.

Hey there,
During my conversation with TP-Link chat support, I received conflicting information. They mentioned that the senior developers will be including that feature in the next firmware update. It seems that the A6 family of routers uses hardware versions 2, 3, and 4 to signify different regional variations rather than differences in functionality. If there are plans to remove some router functions, they would need to change the router family instead of the name of the hardware version.
