Firmware Version: 1.6.1 Build 20231227 Rel. 80438

Recently, I purchased a Deco M4 (v2) router in Malaysia. However, I live in Bangladesh, where mobile devices typically support band 4. Because of this, I cannot use the 5GHz band on the router, which is always connected to channel 44. This situation is quite frustrating.

Is there any chance that you could return the Deco M4 and purchase one from the local market in Bangladesh. The Deco solid in the local market works on band 4.

@David-TP Unfortunately there is no chance. There is no return policy. Is there any way to change the firmware?

@nafis001 It's not that mobile devices typically support band 4 in Bangladesh, it's just that band 1 is restricted.

The only way is to contact Excel Technologies for enabling band 4 for 5 GHz

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it
