Hello guys

I've been controlling WiFi access on TL-WA1201 for over a year. All over a sudden I get a very weak signal on this device after connection. Mind you when disconnected it should full strong signal. Once I connect the entire signal is lost. If anyone ever faced this how did you resolve it? We have over 10 APs on our network all have the same problem.

Hi, you may try to upgrade firmware to improve the performance.

To update firmware of the Access point, Kindly note that during upgrading process, do not turn off or reset the Access Point.
Some models support online upgrade now, but we can also manually update the firmware. Please refer to the below guidance:
    1. Download the latest firmware from https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/.
    2. Connect your computer to the access point's network, and visit http://tplinkap.net/.
    3. Go to System/System Tools > Firmware Upgrade > if the model supports Online Upgrade, Click Check for Upgrades > Or Click Browse to upload the firmware file you have unzipped before, and Click on Upgrade.
Please wait for 2-3 minutes for upgrading and rebooting. If you want to see the details instruction, please click the link.
