  @apaxi

Hi, Thank you very much for your feedback. The previous use didn't update the email anymore so I'm afraid the current issue is still suspending.

Can you add more details here what issue you are experiencing with Google Pixel 8 when it is conected to Deco BE63?

-Is the Google Pixel 8 connected to the MLO or 6GHz networks?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

@Tinek any updates?

@David-TP we have an issue here... Is Tinek's case still open? We have corroborated the same issue across multiple Deco models and the Pixel 8 lineup!

@Tinek any updates?

Same issues as @tinek documented. MLO network experiences issues. Others do not (2.4/5/6GHz)

  @apaxi

Thanks for the update.

I saw there are 3*Deco BE63s under your TP-Link ID. Are they connected via WiFi connection/Backhaul?

Are you able to constantly reproduce the speed instability issue on the Pixel 8  when it is connected to the MLO Network?

-Will the Pixel 8 keep a stable speed when connected to the 6GHz-only WiFi?

Later I'd like to follow up on your case via email. Could you please reply to the email with some screenshots of the speed test on the Pixel 8, such as:

Wait for your reply and best regards.

  @David-TP What do you mean previous user didn't update it anymore? You haven't asked me more questions nor asked for more information. So I just gave up on it as MLO isn't something I can't live without. That said, issue still present, nothing improved since last time I have updated the case. It actually got worse now in my Pixel 8 Pro with Android 15 update and newest patches - now it doesn't even want to connect to MLO properly and when it does it just gets about 200Mb/s max (standing next to the Deco device) and after a moment switches to just 6GHz network and regains full speed, ignoring MLO. At least it now knows better than to try to stick to MLO and suffer, by just switching to stable 6GHz, so Pixel improved it a bit, but Deco didn't, it seems. That said, both of my Deco devices have wired backhaul with 2.5GHz speed (my whole LAN backbone is 2.5GHz, including switches).

Re:Pixel 8 experiences intermittent instability when connecting to TP-Link Be85's MLO network
Monday - last edited Monday

@David-TP A quick update - I have deleted configuration of my MLO network on Deco and set it up again from scratch. New name, new password etc. After that my Pixel is actually happy to connect to it and within the last 10 minutes it seems to be working ok. I will observe it and update after few days of testing (unless issue re-emerges earlier).

Also, a question - I understand MLO network must have different SSID than main one. How about 2.4/5GHz and 6GHz - can these 2 have same SSID or they must also have them separate for full stability?

  @Tinek And sadly soon after I posted it started to play up - slower and slower speeds till my phone started saying no network connectivity on MLO network anymore. Switching back to standard 6GHz network and instantly everything works full speed.

Hi, Thank you very much for the update.

I'd like to follow up on your case via email. Please check whether you can receive my email later.

By the way, It seems like you are using Unifi WiFiMan to run the speed test. Does it support changing the Speedtest server to another target server?

-If yes, can you share some speed test results with me again?

In the below pictures, it seems quite weird with a download PHY rate of 72Mbps, the final internet download speed could be 768.2Mbps.
