Model: RE650
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.5 Build 20211130 Rel. 77836

Hello,

I'm connecting to a Rogers cable modem via an RE650 range extender. I am experiencing an unexpected speed issue when connected directly to the RE650 via ethernet.

When connected to the RE650 via WIFI, I get around the max upload speed expected for my connection:

However when connected via ethernet, my download speed increases but my upload speed is almost non-existent:

Can anyone tell me why the upload speed is so poor when connected via ethernet? I have the latest firmware installed.

I'm on a very new Dell XPS PC running Windows 11 Pro.

Thanks!

Peter

  @peterallcdn

Hi, welcome to the community.

Have you tested the upload speed when the Dell XPS PC is connected directly to the Rogers cable modem router via an Ethernet cable?

Is the wireless speed(163.23 m/s-download,35.49 m/s--upload) also tested on the Dell XPS PC?

Wait for your reply and best regards.
