Slow to reconnect to Deco M5 after restart/wake up
Hi.
After one of the latest firmware-versions I have some problems to reconnect to my items.
When I wake-up a computer or any other items it takes a while to reconnect to internet.
It says that I`m connected to the Wifi, but no internet connection. I have to wait a couple of minutes for it to connect again.
In the Deco-app everything is fine. It happens to all my computers after I wake them up for sleep-mode. Also the same with a Meta Quest 2.
Does anybody know what can cause this? Is there a setting that has been changed in a new firmware lately?
Start with WiFi adapter Power Management settings in computer.
Example:
Activate the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option. If it's already active, deactivate it. Check if changing this setting has an impact, as it sometimes does, not only for Deco mesh systems but also for other WiFi routers.
