Hi,

The highest data throughput speed a TL-PA7017 KIT could reach is about 330 Mbps if you plug the two TL-PA7017 devices in sockets located right adjacent to each other.

As the distance between the two TL-PA7017 devices is increased to something useful, the speed will decrease.

If the two TL-PA7017 devices are placed in different rooms of your home, then 150 Mbps sounds quite reasonable.

If the Powerline rate shows as 600 Mbps, then according to this article https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2928/ the actual throughput should reach "about 30%-35%" of that, which in this case would be 180 - 210 Mbps.

Obviously your result of 150 Mbps is somewhat lower than that.

This could be due to electrical interference from other appliances plugged in wall sockets nearby.

You could check if the data throughput increases when you unplug nearby electric appliances, but since you eventually still want to use them this wouldn't really be a solution.

By the way, do you currently have both Powerline adapters in the same room just for testing purposes or did you intend to use them like this permanently?
